Description

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes using applied statistics, Six Sigma tools, and structured problem‑solving methodologies
• Plan, execute, and document multi‑phase validation runs to confirm new and existing processes meet performance requirements
• Develop and manage project charters, implementation plans, timelines, and resource requirements
• Act as a technical liaison between engineering, development, and operations teams
• Create product, process, and equipment specifications to ensure manufacturability
• Support transfer of new processes into production, including SOP development and operator training
• Establish and maintain control plans to sustain process gains over time
• Contribute to broader operational excellence and continuous improvement strategies

Profile

• B.S. in Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in plastics, polymer, textile, or converting manufacturing environments
• Strong background in process validation, DOE, SPC, and root cause analysis
• Hands‑on experience using statistical tools (Minitab preferred)
• Proven ability to manage engineering projects end‑to‑end
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
• Comfortable supporting shop‑floor operations and change management
