Bookkeeper/Financial Analyst

Our client, a major meat distributor based in The Bronx, is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Financial Analyst. This is a full-time role and the successful candidate will have 2+ years of AP/AR experience.

Client Details

Major meat distributor based in The Bronx. This role is 5 days per week in office for the first 3 months, then Fridays from home and offers an individual with 2+ years of AP/AR experience a chance to work on a collaborative team for one of the largest food distributors in the region.

Description

This role will involve you to:

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Oversee vendor management, including onboarding, contract compliance, and payment schedules.
• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Quickbooks ERP software experience
• 2+ years of AP/AR or Vendor Management or Payroll experience
• HS Diploma or Associates/Bachelors' Degree
• Ability to commute to Hunts Point, Bronx for 5 days/week for first 3 months
