Assistant Project Manager- Multifamily Shell Construction

An established shell contractor in Miami is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with experience in high-rise apartment construction. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale multifamily projects and grow within a highly reputable company.

Description

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing shell construction on high-rise projects.

• Manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

• Assist in scheduling, cost tracking, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve issues and maintain project flow.

• Monitor quality and safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements.

• Prepare and review progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Profile

• 2+ years of experience as an APM or Project Engineer in shell or structural concrete construction.

• Previous experience on high-rise multifamily or commercial projects is required.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
