Commercial Interiors Construction Project Manager
The Construction Project Manager oversees all phases of commercial interior buildouts, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with scope and design standards. They coordinate teams, manage budgets and documentation, mitigate risks, and maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, architects, and building management.

Description
- Manage full project lifecycle for commercial interior construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and scope.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain accurate schedules, budgets, and material procurement for interior renovations and fit‑outs.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and value engineering to maintain financial control while meeting quality and design objectives.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, weekly progress meetings, and coordination sessions to ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress, identify risks, resolve issues promptly, and maintain proactive project oversight to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, permit requirements, and company safety programs throughout project operations.
- Review, process, and approve RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and full closeout documentation.
- Maintain strong client communication, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring a smooth project experience.
- Oversee quality control for all phases of interior buildouts to ensure projects meet company standards, design intent, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with building management, property teams, and workplace strategy groups to coordinate logistics in both occupied and unoccupied office environments.

Profile
- Proven track record managing commercial interior construction projects, office fit‑outs, and tenant improvements from start to finish.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and design documents.
- Experience coordinating architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors on fast‑paced interiors projects.
- Skilled in project scheduling, budget management, forecasting, and cost control for commercial buildouts.
- Adept at running progress meetings, leading coordination efforts, and driving clear communication across field and office teams.
- Demonstrated strength in solving project challenges quickly, maintaining progress, and preventing schedule delays.
- Familiarity with building codes, permitting processes, safety regulations, and interior construction standards.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control throughout all phases of interior construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in active office buildings or occupied spaces.
- Proficient with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- Strong client‑facing skills, able to build trust, set expectations, and maintain long‑term relationships.
- Leadership style that promotes collaboration, accountability, and high performance in both field and office teams.
- Excellent documentation skills, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and closeout packages.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments with a focus on delivering polished results.
