Project Manager - Commercial Construction
A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Hendersonville, NC. This is a highly urgent hire due to internal leadership transition and recent team turnover, offering immediate responsibility and strong earning potential for a seasoned PM who can hit the ground running.

The client is a respected commercial contractor with a strong regional presence, specializing in commercial and pre-engineered metal building projects. The organization is known for tenure, leadership accessibility, and rewarding high-performing Project Managers through both commission-based and discretionary bonuses.
Description
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage projects across multiple delivery methods (Design-Build, CM at Risk, Public Bid, Negotiated)
- Maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring strong communication and satisfaction
- Utilize Procore to manage project workflows and reporting
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Strong background in commercial construction and pre-engineered metal buildings
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused
- Comfortable managing fast-paced projects with a strong sense of urgency
- Proficient with Procore software
Job Offer
$100,000-$120,000 base
- Company vehicle
- 401(k) with 8% company contribution
- Healthcare coverage at 80%
- 2-3 weeks PTO (negotiable)
Bonuses
- 4% commission-based bonus on completed jobs (typically $25k-$65k annually for PMs)
- Discretionary end-of-year bonus
