- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and cost analysis.
- Develop conceptual, schematic, and final estimates for scopes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Evaluate drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify gaps and risks.
- Participate in preconstruction strategy meetings and proposal development.
- Work closely with operations to ensure estimates align with field realities.
- Support value engineering, bid leveling, and project handoff processes.
Profile
The successful candidate is a detail‑driven estimator with strong experience in commercial construction. You excel at breaking down complex scopes, managing tight timelines, building relationships with subcontractors, and producing polished estimates with minimal supervision. You combine technical estimating skills with strong communication, problem‑solving instincts, and the ability to manage multiple pursuits at once.
