Senior Project Manager- Public Works
Join a fast-growing Southern California contractor expanding in the Bay Area. My client are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Project Manager who can lead public/federal construction projects and help grow their presence through business development and strong existing client relationships.

Description
As Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Lead public-sector and federally funded projects from bid through completion including planning, scheduling, budgeting, permitting, subcontractor coordination, compliance, and on-site execution.
- Oversee project scope, cost controls, schedule, and quality assurance.
- Act as a primary point of contact with owners, agencies, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and lead project teams; promote a collaborative, safety-focused culture.
- Help identify, pursue, and develop new public/federal contract opportunities leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit.

Profile
- Significant experience managing public- or federal-works construction projects (from preconstruction through closeout) preferred.
- Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, procurement/contracting, permits/regulatory compliance, site-management, and subcontractor oversight
- A self-starter attitude; ability to see opportunities, build relationships, and help grow the company's presence in the Bay Area
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety
- Preferred (but not required): Construction management degree or relevant certification; familiarity with public works procurement and compliance; prior business-development or client-relationship experience.
