K-12/Government Superintendent - Southern Maryland
This Superintendent role oversees day‑to‑day field operations on commercial and K‑12 construction projects across Southern Maryland and the DC Metro area, ensuring quality, safety, and seamless coordination with owners, architects, and subcontractors. The position offers the opportunity to lead impactful ground‑up and large renovation projects within a stable, long‑established construction firm.

Description
The Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing all phases of construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinating and communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members effectively.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and reports.
- Fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience in construction management, specifically within the Property industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams and projects effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach to managing challenges and ensuring project success.
