TA Sourcer
Looking for a driven Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support key hiring initiatives. This hybrid role is ideal for someone based in New York or the surrounding areas who has strong knowledge of the local talent landscape and is energized by the opportunity to build talent pipelines from the ground up.
Client Details
A highly reputable non-profit organization within the educational space. Role is based in Lower Manhattan and offers a flexible work schedule (Hybrid 3 days). This role would be great for a candidate looking to pivot into the HR space.
Description
- Proactively source and engage candidates daily
- Support hiring efforts tied to market expansion and new geographic growth
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and other sourcing platforms to identify qualified talent
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines aligned with hiring goals
- Craft thoughtful outreach messages to attract both active and passive candidates
- Collaborate with recruiters to refine sourcing strategies and prioritize searches
- Track candidate activity and sourcing efforts in recruiting systems
- Stay informed on NYC-area market trends and talent availability
- Support campus recruiting efforts, career fairs, and early talent outreach.
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate pre‑hire documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements that shape a positive candidate experience.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree required in similar field
- 0-1+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience
- 1+ years of internship experience considered
- Strong familiarity with the NYC talent market
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or additional sourcing tools
- Strong written communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for education, social impact, and global mission‑driven work.
