The Superintendent will oversee day‑to‑day site operations for luxury residential interior projects, ensuring exceptional quality, schedule adherence, and seamless coordination with trades, clients, and internal teams. This individual will serve as the on‑site leader responsible for execution, safety, and overall project delivery.

Client Details

Our client is a well‑established NYC-based General Contractor specializing in high-end residential interior construction, including luxury apartments and penthouses throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. They are known for precision craftsmanship, white‑glove project delivery, and long-standing relationships with architects, designers, and discerning homeowners

Description

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities and subcontractor coordination
  • Maintain project schedule, sequencing, and daily/weekly progress reporting
  • Ensure strict adherence to high-end craftsmanship and finish standards
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and quality control inspections
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with NYC DOB requirements
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and client representatives
  • Oversee material deliveries, storage, and installation verification
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays
  • Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on high-end residential interiors in New York, New York.
  • Proven success managing luxury condo, co‑op, penthouse, or townhouse projects in NYC
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, finishes, and sequences for interior construction
  • Familiarity with DOB, Local Law requirements, and NYC construction logistics
  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for high‑quality craftsmanship
  • Strong communication skills when partnering with clients, architects, and trades
  • Ability to foresee issues and drive proactive solutions
  • Experience running projects independently from demo through closeout
