They work in the commercial space, working mainly on education, federal, retail, shopping center construction throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties. They are seeking a strong Estimator to join their team, someone to help develop the team with room for growth.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely submissions.
• Monitor and update cost databases and maintain accurate records of estimates.
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies during pre-construction phases.

Profile

• 7+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
