Central RSM - Nutraceutical Mfg. (Remote)
The Central RSM (Remote) will oversee sales operations and drive growth within the nuraceutical manufacturing industry, focusing on client relationship management and strategic planning. This role requires a motivated individual with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while working remotely.

A leading developer and manufacturer of bioactives and lipid‑based powders serving the dietary supplement, functional food, and beverage industries. The organization specializes in transforming healthy oils and bioactives into stable, functional powder systems that improve nutritional delivery, stability, sensory performance, and formulation flexibility.
Description
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned region for the nutraceutical manufacturing sector.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients and partners to expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to key stakeholders and clients.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to accelerate revenue growth in the Central U.S. territory.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the organization's ingredient capabilities.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline across near‑, mid‑, and long‑term horizons.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to engage buyers, formulators, R&D teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Manage key accounts to maintain volume and expand product usage.
- Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and customer-facing industry events.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the executive team to support annual revenue goals, strategic planning, and margin management.
- Partner with marketing to generate leads, support trade shows, and create market-driven messaging.
- Coordinate with customer service, operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Prepare forecasting, annual sales quotas, pipeline reports, call summaries, pricing requests, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred) to manage communication and opportunity progression.
- Support profit goals through appropriate product mix and margin management.

Profile
A successful Central Regional Sales Manager should have:
- Proven experience in sales within the nutraceutical manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong understanding of business services and sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting and exceeding goals.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.A successful Central RSM (Remote) should have:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally selling ingredients into the nutraceutical, supplement, or functional beverage sectors.
- Proven success in prospecting, territory development, and growing new accounts.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills with commercial and technical audiences.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and make sound business decisions.
- High level of organization with skill in managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- Motivated, proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
- Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and strong relationship-building abilities.
Job Offer
- Base salary $120,000 - $140,000, pending experience.
