Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a thriving team in the construction industry. This temporary to permanent role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for Accounting & Finance.

Our client is a small-sized business operating in the Construction sector. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards in their Accounting & Finance operations.

Description

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial data accuracy.
• Assist with preparing financial reports for internal and external use.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to support business operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with external accountants for tax preparation and audits.
• Support payroll processing and employee expense tracking.
• Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

• 2 yrs AP & AR experience required
• 3-way matching experience with purchase orders
• Sage 100 or Sage Business Works, Sharepoint & Stripe ERP system experience preferred
• Industrial/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
