Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects in the property industry. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze project requirements and provide accurate cost assessments to support successful project execution.

Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to identify cost factors and potential risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
• Provide support in pre-construction planning and feasibility studies.
• Monitor and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and pricing trends.
• Participate in client meetings to present and explain cost estimates as needed.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.

Profile

A successful Senior Estimator should have:

• Proven experience in construction cost estimating within the property industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teams and clients.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
