Superintendent - Hospitality Construction

The Superintendent will lead on-site operations for hospitality construction projects, including hotels, boutique properties, and restaurant builds. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage fast-paced schedules, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure high-end finishes that align with brand and ownership expectations. The Superintendent will play a critical role in driving project timelines and ensuring a safe and efficient job site.

Description

Our Construction Superintendent will:

  • Oversee all day-to-day field operations to ensure project milestones and completion deadlines are met
  • Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes to ensure accurate execution of hospitality projects
  • Lead site logistics planning, including scheduling, sequencing, and coordination of trades
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship, adherence to brand standards, and compliance with safety protocols
  • Maintain detailed daily reports, weekly schedules, and progress updates
  • Coordinate all on-site construction activities and proactively resolve field issues
  • Work directly with ownership groups, developers, and client representatives while maintaining a professional, client-facing presence
  • Ensure job site safety standards are upheld, including proper signage, compliance, and OSHA requirements
  • Drive schedule performance in fast-paced environments, particularly for interior build-outs and phased hotel renovations

Profile

The ideal Superintendent will:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor, preferably within hospitality or commercial construction
  • Experience delivering hotel, restaurant, or high-end interior projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and subcontractor coordination
  • Proven ability to manage ground-up and/or interior renovation projects in fast-paced environments
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of construction systems, safety practices, materials, and field operations
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards, particularly for high-end finishes and client expectations
