Description

The Junior Estimator is responsible for:

• Assisting in preparing electrical estimates and bid proposals for commercial and industrial projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes to help develop takeoffs and accurate pricing
• Soliciting vendor and subcontractor quotes and assisting in evaluating pricing
• Supporting senior estimators in developing bid packages and project handoff materials
• Participating in scope review meetings and team discussions
• Helping with revisions, change order pricing, and cost updates throughout project cycles

Profile

The right Junior Estimator will have:

• 1-3 years of estimating experience or a journeyman electrician background
• Strong interest in developing long‑term estimating skills
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and electrical schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from senior team members
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
