Junior Estimator- Commercial Construction
An established General Contractor in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Junior Estimator with experience in commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a reputable firm while gaining exposure to diverse project types and advancing your career in preconstruction.

Description
Assist senior estimators in preparing detailed estimates for commercial projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to ensure accurate pricing.
Perform quantity take-offs and analyze project costs.
Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
Support in preparing bid proposals and presentations.
Work closely with the project management team to transition awarded projects smoothly.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of estimating experience with a General Contractor, ideally on commercial construction projects. They will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar), and a collaborative mindset. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
