Junior Estimator- Commercial Construction

Description

• Assist senior estimators in preparing detailed estimates for commercial projects.

• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to ensure accurate pricing.

• Perform quantity take-offs and analyze project costs.

• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.

• Support in preparing bid proposals and presentations.

• Work closely with the project management team to transition awarded projects smoothly.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of estimating experience with a General Contractor, ideally on commercial construction projects. They will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar), and a collaborative mindset. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
