Project Manager- public, federal & commercial construction

• Manage public and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, taking full ownership of schedule, budget, and execution.

Description

• Manage assigned projects from kickoff through final closeout

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules

• Oversee budgets, cost tracking, and change order management

• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and inspectors

• Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and scopes

• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and logs

• Utilize Procore to manage project controls and reporting

• Work closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with plan

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Junior PM

• Background in K-12, municipal, public, or federal projects

• Comfortable running projects independently (not just delegating)

• Strong scheduling and organizational skills

• Proficiency with Procore and standard PM software

• Steady work history and experience with reputable contractors

• Comfortable remaining at the PM level for the next 2-3 years
