Client Details

A well-established and growing commercial construction firm is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to lead field operations across a variety of commercial projects. This individual will oversee day-to-day site management, ensure work is performed to high-quality standards, maintain project schedules, and foster strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal project teams.

Description

• Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures; lead daily/weekly safety meetings.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers regarding scheduling, logistics, materials, and change orders.
• Maintain detailed daily logs, reports, and documentation.
• Assist with problem resolution, conflict management, and maintaining a positive, productive jobsite environment.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, architects, and owners.

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• 5-15 years of field experience in commercial construction, with at least 6 years in a Superintendent capacity.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and project sequencing.
• Experience managing ground-up, renovation, or interior fit-out commercial projects.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct field teams.
• Solid knowledge of jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance.
• Proficiency with construction management software and digital documentation tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
