Office Manager
The Office Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless administrative support and a well-organized workplace. This role is essential in supporting the success of a property-focused team by managing office procedures and staff needs.
Client Details
This family owned construction management perm is 30 employees, many of whom have worked with the company for 10+ years. The prior Office Manager worked with the owner for 32 years, so this role offers great long-term stability for someone looking to stay and grow with an organization.
Description
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, supplies, and facilities management.
- Support leadership with administrative tasks, including calendar management and correspondence.
- Manage general HR oversight for the company, including benefits administrative, employee relations, and employee questions.
- Oversee and coordinate team meetings, events, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures within the office.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support the property team.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to meet office needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries and concerns.
- Provide support for recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Oversee the performance of an onsite receptionist.
Profile
A successful Office Manager should have:
- A strong background in administrative or office management roles, ideally within the property/construction industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in office software and tools, including scheduling and communication platforms.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to address challenges promptly.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
