Quality Engineer

The position is responsible for developing measurement systems and analyzing data to improve process consistency and product quality, while supporting both new product development and legacy process improvement. It involves creating control plans, conducting process capability assessments, and leading quality initiatives in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Description

• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Support product development teams in defining quality requirements and specifications.
• Train and guide staff on quality assurance processes and best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities and outcomes.
• Work with suppliers to ensure materials meet quality requirements.

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards in the Engineering & Manufacturing sector.
• Experience in manufacturing, CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), and ability to develop CMM programs and fixtures.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.
• Proficiency in analyzing data and generating reports.
