Assistant Project Manager - Luxury Residential
Join a high-end residential construction firm where you'll gain hands-on experience with multimillion-dollar projects and work closely with senior leadership. This is a growth-focused role with a clear path to becoming a Project Manager.
Client Details
With over 30 years of excellence, this Fair Lawn-based General Contractor specializes in luxury residential construction across Westchester County, NYC, and Connecticut. Despite being a smaller operation, the company maintains a polished, professional atmosphere with a team of 30 employees. The CEO is deeply involved in day-to-day operations, sitting alongside the PMs and fostering a collaborative culture. Notably, most of the current PMs started as APMs-demonstrating the company's commitment to internal growth and mentorship.
Description
- Project Management: Support Project Managers in overseeing high-end residential construction projects.
- Schedule Management: Assist in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client communications.
- Work On-Site: Conduct site visits 1-2 times per week (primarily Greenwich, CT; occasional NYC).
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with vendors, architects, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Safety Compliance: Prepare documentation, track progress, and help resolve on-site issues.
- Quality Control: Maintain a polished, client-facing presence on high-profile projects.
Profile
- 2-3 years of experience in luxury residential construction.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable traveling to job sites weekly (train accessible).
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with high-end clients.
- Eager to learn and grow into a Project Manager role.
Job Offer
- Competitive Base Salary: up to 95K (based on experience)
