Assistant Project Manager- Shell Construction

We are seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager with experience in high-rise multifamily shell construction to join a growing contractor in Aventura, Florida. Description

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of shell construction for high-rise multifamily projects.

• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure schedules and budgets are met.

• Track project progress, prepare reports, and support change order management.

• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify and mitigate potential issues.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across the job site.

Profile

The ideal candidate has prior experience with a shell contractor and has supported large high-rise multifamily projects from the ground up. They are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a team environment. A strong foundation in construction documentation, scheduling, and cost tracking is required. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but equivalent field experience will be considered.
