Description

  • Extensive expertise in construction materials, methods, practices, and contract management
  • Proficient in Sage Estimating, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong mathematical foundation, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry, applied to accurate project estimating
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Skilled at interpreting bid documents and developing precise construction detail sketches
  • Experienced in cost estimation using probability models, providing clear insights into overall expenses, specific components, and project timelines
  • Effective communicator-able to convey ideas visually through sketches and diagrams, as well as verbally with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiar with measurement techniques, economic principles, and core business fundamentals
  • Critical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills, capable of abstract reasoning and analytical decision‑making
  • Confident in making informed, independent decisions by leveraging data and practical judgment
  • Self‑motivated and highly capable of working independently while maintaining accountability
  • Driven to achieve long‑term goals, demonstrating resilience and persistence even in challenging circumstances

Profile

  • 4+ year(s) experience in the estimating or project management field.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Ground up project knowledge and experience preferred
  • Proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sage, MS Project
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Interesting in mentorship opportunity
  • Quantity takeoff and cost estimate experience
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management or Architectural Technology.
