Chief of Staff (Contract to Hire)

The Chief of Staff will report directly to the President & CEO and serve as a strategic partner and key operational leader within the organization. This high-impact role functions as both a trusted advisor and an execution-focused decision-making, overseeing daily business operations, and ensuring alignment across senior leadership and departmental initiatives.

Description

  • Act as a strategic partner to the President & CEO in executing organizational goals and priorities
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure business efficiency, timely execution, and accountability
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and resources are properly allocated
  • Serve as project manager on special projects, programs, and high-profile events, maintaining attention to detail and overall cohesion
  • Facilitate key meetings and post-meeting follow-up, including action item tracking and internal communication
  • Establish best practices and workflows to streamline operations and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Support executive decision-making through preparation of materials, background research, and thoughtful collaboration
  • Represent the President & CEO in internal meetings and discussions, as needed
  • Serve as a social media ambassador by sharing organizational content within professional networks to expand visibility
  • Provide leadership to the General Counsel, VP of Business & Legal Affairs
  • Handle additional special projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 20+ years of relevant leadership and management experience
  • Proven success in a senior or executive-level operational role
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain composure in fast-paced environments
  • Passion for mission-driven work and enthusiasm for in-person collaboration
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed, for events and programs
