Strategic Account Manager -SaaS-Hybrid Downtown Boston
My client is a leading SaaS company who has grown from 0-$200M in the last 8 years. They sell into the GTM line. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key clients while driving sales and achieving strategic goals.
Client Details
Our client is a market leader in SaaS. They have HQ in downtown Boston but global operations. They sell GTM tools and sell into top enterprises like T-Mobile, Sephora, New Balance, Salesforce and more. They are continuing to scale in their enterprise segment with a Strategic Account Manager hire.
Description
- Manage and grow relationships with strategic accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement account plans that align with company objectives.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within existing accounts.
- Further focus on retention / renewal of top enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery of services.
- Analyze market trends to identify potential growth areas for key accounts.
- Prepare and present reports on account performance and progress to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs promptly and effectively.

Profile
A successful Strategic Account Manager should have:
- Proven experience in Strategic Account Management within a SaaS environment.
- Selling MarTech, Sales Enablement or other relevant tools. Selling into the go to market line preferred.
- Experience in a quota drive environment focused on expansion (as well as renewal / retention).
- 5+ years of proven experience in an enterprise account management environment.
- 10-15+ years in a SaaS sales environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in negotiation and contract management.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Experience implementing your own process / relationship management.
Job Offer
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $120k - 140k base salary - $240 - 280k OTE.
