We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee multifamily, woodframe residential new construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in the property and construction industry.

A well‑established construction management firm based in the Northeast, the organization specializes in complex multifamily, mixed‑use, and commercial projects with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and on‑time delivery. It is known for its hands‑on approach, deep technical expertise-particularly in wood‑frame and urban construction-and long‑standing relationships with developers, architects, and subcontractors.

Description

Construction Project Manager

  • Manage all aspects of multifamily, woodframe residential new construction projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support the team in identifying and mitigating potential risks to project success.
  • General knowledge of Building and Construction Codes

Profile

A successful Construction Project Manager should have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 5+ years of experience managing wood‑frame multifamily residential construction projects
    • Strong understanding of wood‑frame building systems, podium construction, and multifamily finishes
    • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
    • Knowledge of New York State and local building codes and permitting processes
    • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
    • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
    • Should be commutable to White Plains, NY
