- Support engineering and inspection teams by ensuring all designs and fabrication processes align with proper quality requirements and customer standards.
- Develop training materials and conduct onboarding and ongoing quality training for new and current team members.
- Review, refine, and enhance quality systems and processes to maintain and elevate company standards.
- Operate independently and take ownership of tasks while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Manage vendor adherence to company quality expectations and flow‑down requirements.
- Analyze quality data and provide guidance to maintain compliance and prevent issues.
- Lead efforts to build, update, and enforce quality control protocols and evaluation systems.
- Conduct detailed part inspections using a range of inspection tools to ensure all components meet specifications.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a quality-focused engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of AS9100 and familiarity with quality standards and compliance workflows.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T according to ASME Y14.5.
- Experience using CMM equipment and a variety of precision inspection tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
