Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and architects to assess project requirements.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine material needs.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Assist in preparing project timelines and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates and project documentation.
• Provide regular updates on cost projections and potential budget variances.
• Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.

Profile

A successful Junior Construction Estimator should have:

• A background in construction, architecture, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
