FIX Integration Engineer
The Implementation team plays a key role in driving revenue by partnering with Sales, Trading, and Technology to onboard new clients through customized technical integrations, including FIX and connectivity with trading systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, using strong technical skills (e.g., FIX, Linux, SQL, E/OMS, cloud, scripting) and a proactive mindset to support integrations, certifications, and ongoing system improvements.

The client is an established financial services firm.
Description
Provide technical onboarding support, working closely with clients and internal teams, and escalating complex issues to Development when necessary.
Manage integration certifications with external vendors and maintain connectivity across platforms, including the E/OMS systems.
Act as a key escalation point for Front Office workflow and integration issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to trading operations.
Implement client-specific configurations, coordinate testing with stakeholders, and support onboarding for Exchange Traded Derivatives on the Fidessa platform.
Support global operations and incident response, including pre-market checks, post-mortem analysis, off-hours testing, and collaboration with APAC and EMEA teams.
Profile
Practical implementation experience in financial institutions, with strong knowledge of FIX protocol and Unix/Linux environments.
Skilled in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and proficient with MSSQL, Oracle, or Sybase databases, including complex queries.
Experienced in supporting Windows Server environments and troubleshooting basic network issues like firewalls and routing.
Proactive, analytical, and disciplined problem-solver who takes ownership and works independently while meeting service level agreements.
Confident communicator able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, clients, and traders.
