Project Manager- Commercial Construction
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects for a general contractor based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.

They deliver a wide range of commercial construction projects throughout Florida and are known for repeat business, strong subcontractor relationships, and a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
Description
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost reports.
Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change management.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal field teams.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and project documentation.
Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
Profile
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor in Florida.
Proven track record managing commercial construction projects (retail, office, restaurant, hospitality, or similar).
Strong knowledge of Florida building codes, permitting processes, and subcontractor market.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
