The NAM Chief Accountant will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accurate financial reporting. This role requires expertise in the Retail industry and strong leadership skills to manage the Accounting & Finance department effectively.

Description

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and other relevant policies.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Manage and mentor the Accounting & Finance team to promote professional development and operational excellence.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

Profile

A successful NAM Chief Accountant should have:
