Construction Project Manager - Government Projects
My client is looking for a hard-working project manager with to run their growing portfolio of government projects. They have been operating in Madison for 40 years as a design/build commercial contractor. They have built a sterling reputation for quality delivery, employee satisfaction, and robust pipeline. The small family company has grown rapidly this year, and are looking to hire a project manager to manage their portfolio of government projects.

My client is a third generation family-owned general contractor that's grown rapidly this year. Boasting a $180M project backlog of projects, and that growth has driven them to hire. They are looking for a humble, hungry, emotionally intelligent project manager to join their growing team. They have won a substantial amount of government projects, and they are looking for an autonomous person to spearhead this growing line of business for them.

Description
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to align on project goals.
- Monitor project progress and address potential risks or delays proactively.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Manage procurement of materials and resources necessary for project execution.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in project processes.
Profile
- 3+ Years of commercial construction project management experience
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
