Description
The successful Project Manager will:
- Lead project management efforts while coordinating with client, architects, and engineers
- Assist in potential business development meetings and proposals
- Lead from the front to maintain their positive office culture
- Creates and reviews project schedules
- Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
- Develops relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
- Handle forecasting and estimating costs while making changes to costs for project completion
- Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site
Profile
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with a general contractor
- Bachelor's degree in construction field preferred but relevant experience considered
- Experience leading and assisting on at least one K-12, and/or municipal construction projects
- Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, materials, and local subcontractors
- Previous mentorship experience is a strong plus
