Project Engineer - Springfield, MA
The Project Engineer will act as a technical liaison, partnering with key OEM customers and internal teams. In this role you will develop systems and designs for specific projects, utilizing AutoCAD, GD&T, CATIA, and SolidWorks.

Description
The Project Engineer will:
- Support the development of various products and systems
 - Conduct cost studies for VA/VE proposals.
 - Design system and component-level solutions using 3D modeling and 2D drafting tools (CAD software).
 - Manage engineering drawing approvals, BOM updates, and specification communication.
 - Lead design reviews, DFMEAs, and Gantt chart creation.
 - Develop and execute verification plans; coordinate lab testing and reporting.
 - Collaborate with APQP teams to support mass production launches and quality documentation (e.g., PFMEAs, Control Plans).
 - Assist Sales and New Product teams with new business opportunities.
 - Perform additional engineering tasks and projects as needed.

Profile
A successful Project Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 - Minimum 3 years of engineering experience; strong knowledge of GD&T.
 - Familiarity with automotive engines/transmissions and AIAG standards preferred.
 - Proficiency in CAD tools (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks); simulation software experience is a plus.
 - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
 - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
