Sr. Manufacturing Engineer | Aerospace
We're seeking a Lead/Senior Aerospace Engineer to manage and review new projects, create routings and BOMs, and ensure flow-downs to special processes in a CNC-focused manufacturing environment. This role requires aerospace experience, CAD proficiency, and offers the opportunity to work on high-quality projects within a growing, collaborative team.

They operate a collaborative, precision-focused environment, delivering high-quality engineered solutions to OEM customers while maintaining compliance with industry standards like AS9100.
Description
- Lead and review new aerospace projects, including creating routings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Provide flow-downs to special processes, such as heat treating and other secondary operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements, timelines, and quality standards are met
- Support compliance with AS9100 standards and internal quality processes
- Utilize SolidWorks or other CAD software for design, documentation, and project support
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production functions
- Mentor and guide junior engineers as needed
- Ensure engineering solutions align with CNC manufacturing capabilities and aerospace OEM requirements
Profile
- Has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, ideally within an OEM environment
- Brings lead or senior-level engineering experience, with exposure to CNC manufacturing processes
- Proficient in SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Experienced in reviewing projects, creating routings and BOMs, and providing flow-downs to special processes
- Knowledgeable of AS9100 standards and quality compliance requirements
- Strong collaborator with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior engineers
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ideally has experience with heat treating or other secondary manufacturing processes
Job Offer
- Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $135,000, flexible based on experience
- Discretionary annual bonus
- Paid time off (PTO) negotiable based on candidate expectations
- Full-time position with standard work hours (8 AM - 5 PM) and some schedule flexibility
