Senior Project Manager - Diverse Commercial Construction
Senior Project Manager opportunity with a well-established General Contractor expanding its presence in the Columbus market. This role offers the chance to lead high-profile projects while helping build out a growing team with strong long-term backing.

Description
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Identifying and mitigating project risks while implementing corrective actions
- Preparing and presenting project updates to leadership and clients
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Negotiating contracts with subcontractors and vendors
- Mentoring and developing project managers and project engineers
- Facilitating communication across project teams and stakeholders
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring high standards of workmanship
- Managing project documentation including contracts, change orders, and reports
- Supporting project closeout, including client walkthroughs and final delivery
Profile
The Senior Project Manager will have:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations
- Proven leadership experience managing project teams
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience with contract negotiation and subcontractor management
- Commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
Job Offer
The Senior Project Manager will be offered:
- $130,000 - $150,000 base salary depending on experience
- Bonus typically ranging from $15,000 - $20,000 in year one
