Affordable Housing - Asset Manager

Description

  • Manage a portfolio of affordable housing properties to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize property value and maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to ensure efficient operations and maintenance of properties.
  • Monitor market trends and make recommendations for property improvements or upgrades.
  • Prepare detailed reports on property performance for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal housing regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including investors and community stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Affordable Housing - Asset Manager should have:

Hands-on experience with LIHTC or affordable housing asset management

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort reviewing financial statements
  • Confident navigating compliance requirements and regulatory reporting
  • Able to partner effectively with property management teams
  • Strong communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with solid time-management and organization skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines across a diverse portfolio
  • Background in asset management, property management, underwriting, or financial analysis is a plus
