Junior Estimator

Description

• Assist in preparing detailed and accurate quantity take-offs, estimates, and proposals for commercial construction projects.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.

• Support senior estimators and project teams with cost analysis, bid preparation, and budget development.

• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing and scope details.

• Maintain organized records of estimates and project documents for future reference.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of experience working as an estimator for a commercial General Contractor. They should be detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within the construction estimating field. Strong communication skills and proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office are required. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience is demonstrated.
