Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee university renovation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will coordinate subcontractors, manage site operations, and maintain close communication with the project team and campus stakeholders.

Description

  • Oversee daily on-site operations for construction projects, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and schedules.

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain smooth workflow and high-quality standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve any field issues or conflicts.

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout all phases of construction.

  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, schedules, and field records, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Profile

  • Experience as a working super on educational and cultural projects
  • Has a proven track record of effectively managing daily on-site construction activities, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines.

  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of workmanship.

  • Brings hands-on experience in conducting site inspections, identifying and resolving issues proactively, and enforcing safety and compliance protocols.

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with project managers, architects, clients, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment and project momentum.

  • Maintains detailed and accurate documentation, including daily logs, schedules, and reports, with a commitment to organizational procedures and regulatory requirements.
