Property Manager/Bookkeeper

Our client, a premier luxury real estate firm based in Manhattan, is looking for an experienced Property Manager/Bookkeeper. This is a FTE role, and the successful candidate will have property management & bookkeeping experience.

Client Details

Premier luxury real estate firm based in Manhattan. This FTE role is 5 days per week in office, and offers an individual with property management & bookkeeping experience a chance to work with one of the oldest top tier real estate firms in NY.

Description

This role will involve you to:

• Maintain accurate financial records for rental properties, including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
• Oversee property budgets, expense tracking, and vendor payments.
• Coordinate maintenance and upgrades for luxury-use apartments.
• Liaise with outsourced accounting teams and report directly to the Principal.
• Manage vendor relationships and service agreements for Class A properties.
• Support operations for NYC gift stores and new development projects.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in bookkeeping and property management (stronger in one area with exposure to the other).
• Prior work with luxury Class A properties or reputable management companies (e.g., Silverstein, First Service Residential, Beam Living, ELH).
• Professional demeanor and polished communication skills.
• Degree not required; experience and discretion are key.
• Familiarity with rental bookkeeping and property operations.
