Description

• As a Staff Accountant you well help manage the general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor and analyze budgetary performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits.
• Work with treasury and tax to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting department.
• This role is onsite and based in Las Vegas, NV.

Profile

A successful Staff Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two plus years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Understanding of trust accounting is preferred.
• Experience with cash flow reporting and treasury functions is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• This role is onsite and based in Las Vegas, NV.
