Superintendent

A Knoxville‑based GC is seeking a local Superintendent to manage ground‑up and commercial construction projects throughout East Tennessee. This role is ideal for a hands‑on field leader who excels in coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety, maintaining schedules, and ensuring quality - all while staying fully local with no travel required.

Description

• Lead daily on‑site operations for local commercial projects
• Manage subcontractors, jobsite safety, quality control, and scheduling
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and internal teams
• Maintain daily reports, inspections, RFIs, and project documentation
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and ensure work follows plans and specifications
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to company quality standards

Profile

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial GC
• Background in ground‑up or interior commercial construction
• Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage jobsite operations
• Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple construction phases on local job sites
