Traveling Superintendent - North & South Carolina
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction projects across North and South Carolina, with travel extending to Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and West Virginia as needed. Candidates may focus on either commercial upfit projects or ground‑up multifamily projects, depending on experience.

Description
- Manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations and company standards on the job site.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications and customer requirements.
Profile
A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:
- Superintendent experience in commercial upfits and/or ground‑up multifamily.
- Comfortable traveling regionally for extended project durations.
- Strong field leadership and independent jobsite management skills.
- Experience managing multiple trades and fast‑paced schedules.
- Technology‑savvy with construction management and scheduling tools.
- Stable work history preferred.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from USD 90.000 to 110.000 annually.
- Additional Compensation & Benefits:
- Company truck + gas card
- Housing provided while traveling (hotel, Airbnb, or rental)
- Daily per diem: $30-$40/day for meals
- Discretionary annual bonus
- PTO:
- 2 weeks initially
- Increases to 3 weeks with tenure
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (available after 60 days)
- 401(k) eligibility after 90 days
- Company‑provided iPad, phone, and laptop
