Plant Manager
The Plant Manager will oversee operations within a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about optimizing processes in the engineering and manufacturing sector.

This opportunity is with a global manufacturer specializing in advanced light-curable adhesives, coatings, dispensing systems, and curing equipment.
Description
- Oversee adhesive manufacturing operations from reactor processes through mixing, filling, and packaging, ensuring production output meets cost, delivery, safety, and quality objectives.
- Build and lead high-performing teams by coaching managers and supervisors across production, equipment, and maintenance, driving accountability, collaboration, and workforce engagement.
- Ensure compliance with PSM, OSHA, ISO 9001, and environmental standards by embedding safe work practices, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety and responsibility.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies, leveraging data to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and implement sustainable productivity improvements.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, balancing labor, material, utility, and maintenance costs while recommending and executing capital projects to improve capacity and efficiency.
- Champion equipment reliability with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, performance monitoring, and timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuity.
- Strengthen product quality by enforcing strict quality controls, leading root cause investigations, and collaborating with Quality teams to implement corrective actions and reduce non-conformances.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong experience with ERP platforms, ideally JDE-E1, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operating budgets and develop capital investment proposals.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in chemical manufacturing, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, unit operations, and process control methodologies.
- Track record of applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM to achieve measurable improvements.
- Highly customer-focused, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
Job Offer
