Superintendent - NYC

Oversee the day-to-day operations of interior fit-out projects across New York City. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality. The superintendent will play a critical role in coordinating site activities, maintaining schedules, and building strong relationships with clients and project teams.

Description

• Manage all on-site activities for commercial interior fit-out projects.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trades to maintain schedule and quality.

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with NYC building codes.

• Conduct daily site inspections, manage punch lists, and oversee quality control.

• Communicate regularly with project managers, designers, and client representatives.

• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other construction software to manage documentation and reporting.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with design intent.

Profile

You are a detail-driven leader with a strong background in commercial interiors and a passion for delivering polished, client-focused spaces. You thrive in fast-paced environments, understand the nuances of NYC construction, and can manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.

You'll stand out if you:

• Have 8+ years of superintendent experience in commercial interiors.

• Are proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other construction management tools.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, designers, and internal teams.

• Have a strong understanding of high-end finishes, millwork, and specialty trades.

• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and maintain a collaborative site culture.

• Are proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to safety and quality.
