Superintendent - Luxury Multifamily Construction

The Superintendent will lead all on-site operations for a high-rise luxury multifamily project, overseeing field execution from sitework through turnover. This role requires strong experience managing vertical construction, coordinating multiple trades, and maintaining high-end finish quality in a schedule-driven environment.

Description

Our Superintendent will:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for ground-up high-rise multifamily projects
• Manage subcontractor coordination, sequencing, and daily site operations
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestone adherence
• Lead vertical construction phases including structure, façade, MEP rough-in, and interior finishes
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Conduct quality control inspections with a focus on high-end finishes and detailing
• Coordinate inspections, city requirements, and occupancy milestones
• Lead subcontractor meetings and drive accountability across all trades
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to maintain schedule and budget

Profile

A successful Superintendent will have:

• 7-15+ years of experience in construction with a General Contractor
• Proven experience on ground-up high-rise multifamily or mixed-use projects
• Strong understanding of vertical construction sequencing and logistics
• Experience managing large subcontractor teams and complex schedules
• Knowledge of Chicago building requirements and inspection processes preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Base salary range of $110K-$130K+ depending on experience
