The Legal Recruiting Manager will oversee the strategy and execution of early talent acquisition and summer program for the firm's Los Angeles office. This role requires a deep understanding of legal recruitment processes to attract top talent. Experience with OCI and the summer program is required.

Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for early careers recruitment.
  • Manage summer program in Los Angeles, ensuring alignment with firm goals.
  • Partner with universities and professional organizations to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders to identify hiring needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Track, measure, and report on recruitment metrics to evaluate program success.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and implement best practices in early careers recruitment.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within early careers recruitment efforts.

Profile

A successful Legal Recruiting Manager should have:

  • Proven expertise in early careers recruitment within the legal environment (required).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including universities and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion practices in hiring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving recruitment goals.
  • Ability to work onsite in Downtown LA 4 days a week, 1 from home.
