Assistant Project Manager - OSHPD

An established, nationally respected Employee-Owned general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support complex healthcare construction projects throughout Southern California. Description

Working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, you will be involved in all phases of construction delivery, with a strong emphasis on OSHPD/HCAI-regulated healthcare projects.

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Support procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate with design teams, inspectors, and regulatory authorities
• Track compliance with OSHPD/HCAI requirements and reporting processes
• Participate in jobsite meetings and support field operations as needed

Profile

• Proven experience working on OSHPD/HCAI healthcare projects (hospital, acute care, or similar regulated facilities)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and project controls
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
