Assistant Project Manager - OSHPD
As an Assistant Project Manager in the Construction industry, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating OSHPD projects to ensure timely and successful completion. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for project management.

An established, nationally respected Employee-Owned general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support complex healthcare construction projects throughout Southern California. This opportunity is ideal for an early- to mid-career construction professional looking to grow within a collaborative, values-driven organization known for delivering technically challenging work. Description
Working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, you will be involved in all phases of construction delivery, with a strong emphasis on OSHPD/HCAI-regulated healthcare projects.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Support procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate with design teams, inspectors, and regulatory authorities
- Track compliance with OSHPD/HCAI requirements and reporting processes
- Participate in jobsite meetings and support field operations as needed
Profile
- Proven experience working on OSHPD/HCAI healthcare projects (hospital, acute care, or similar regulated facilities)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and project controls
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
