Specializing in retail remodels and industrial construction across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, the company partners with top clients such as Walmart and Publix. They are currently hiring a Superintendent with retail and industrial construction expertise to manage projects averaging three months in duration. Known for a supportive workplace culture, the company boasts an average employee tenure of 15 years. Description
The Traveling Superintendent - Southeast Travel Only - Industrial/Retail will be responsible for:
Supervise daily construction activities and ensure subcontractor quality control.
Coordinate field efforts between trades to meet schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
Communicate project updates to leadership and attend weekly subcontractor and owner/architect meetings.
Monitor site safety protocols and enforce compliance.
Track manpower, deliveries, and maintain daily reports.
Assist with quality control oversight, document control, and look-ahead scheduling.
Verify materials, equipment, and installations comply with approved submittals and contract documents.

The successful Traveling Superintendent - Southeast Travel Only - Industrial/Retail will have the following experience:
Retail construction experience with a general contractor.
Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and cost management principles.
Basic proficiency with project management software.
Professional with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Highly entrepreneurial and results-driven.
Exceptional written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong time management, adaptable, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and detail-oriented.
Job Offer
The Traveling Superintendent - Southeast Travel Only - Industrial/Retail will receive:
Base salary dependent on experience, ranging from approximately $75,000 to $100,000
Approximately 10% annual bonus
$600/month vehicle allowance
4% 401(k) match
Per diem provided during travel
Excellent benefits package, including market-leading health coverage
Projects located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia
